Carnforth Station Heritage Centre Scoops Top Tourism Award

At the recent Lancashire
Tourism Awards evening, Carnforth Station Heritage Centre (CSHC) was named as
the best Lancashire Small Visitor Attraction for 2016.

The Gala evening was held
at Blackburn Cathedral where 500 guests enjoyed a Lancashire inspired Dinner,
catered by Cafe Northcote before journalist and broadcaster, Bill Turnbull,
presided over the Awards covering 18 tourism categories.

John Adams commented –
‘after being finalists in 2013, 2014 and 2015, I am absolutely delighted that
we have finally received this prestigious award. It is a fitting testament to
all the hard work put in by everyone connected with the Centre.

As a regional winner we
now look forward to the National Visit England Awards to be held in London in
April 2017.
